How we inspect, document and present your property claim

A clear scope and an organized record make the concern understandable. The review can also explain when the insurer’s payment is supported.

Begin with the concern and the records

Tell us what happened, what the insurer has decided and which property areas concern you. We can start with available estimates, payment letters, photographs and repair proposals. Your first website inquiry does not require document uploads.

Inspect accessible relevant areas

We arrange access with the owner or authorized contact. The inspection scope depends on the property and claim. Photographs, measurements and notes connect observed conditions with identifiable areas. Tell us about completed repairs, temporary work and areas that cannot be safely accessed.

Develop the scope and estimate

A scope describes documented areas, quantities and repair items. The estimate assigns costs to the proposed work. We compare that information with the insurer’s estimate and identify supported differences. Estimating software organizes an estimate; the inspection and documentation explain its basis.

Explain the finding, including when payment is supported

The review is not based on an assumption that every insurer payment is too low. If our inspection and available records support the payment, we will tell you at no cost. If there are supported concerns, we explain the proposed public adjusting work before you decide whether to retain us.

Present a documented claim position

When retained through a written agreement, we prepare and present relevant documentation and communicate with the insurer about supported concerns. An insurer reinspection may be part of a claim, but a reinspection or a higher estimate does not guarantee additional payment.

Hypothetical scope question

Suppose two estimates use different measurements for the same room. We would check the inspection record and measurements, determine what supports the quantity, and explain any documented difference. This is a fictional process example, not an actual client story or a promised outcome.

Prepare for the visit

Identify the authorized contact, affected areas and access limitations. Keep original photographs and dated records. Do not climb onto a roof or enter an unsafe area to gather information. Our claim review checklist explains useful preparation.

Start with a free claim review

Our initial property inspection and claim review are free. If the records and inspection support the insurer’s payment, we will explain that finding at no cost to you. We do not assume every claim is underpaid.

Our fee is 10% of new money received, with no fee on payments received before you hire us and no additional expenses. If no new money is received, no fee is due. Representation begins through a written agreement.
