Understand the written agreement.
- What percentage or other fee applies to my claim?
- What amount is the fee calculated on?
- How are payments already received treated?
- When is payment due?
- Are there additional costs or exclusions?
- What happens if no additional payment is obtained?
The written agreement explains the terms for your situation. Our fee arrangement does not guarantee additional payment or a particular outcome.
Questions about representation
What is a public insurance adjuster?
A public insurance adjuster represents the insured in a property insurance claim. When retained, we help document and present the claim and communicate with the insurer on your behalf.
Can I contact you after the insurer has already paid?
Yes. Tell us what was paid and why you believe the claim needs another look. Whether further work is appropriate depends on the policy, records, deadlines and claim circumstances.
Does a low check always mean the claim was underpaid?
No. Deductibles, depreciation, limits and coverage terms can affect payment. The estimate and policy need to be reviewed before drawing that conclusion.
Can you guarantee more money or a faster decision?
No. Results and timing depend on the facts, coverage and claim process. We can explain the work proposed for your situation.
Do you repair the property or provide legal representation?
Our firm provides public adjusting and coordinates appropriate experts. Repair work, legal representation and engineering services are performed by separately qualified providers.
What should I have ready?
If available, keep your policy, insurer estimate, decision letter, photographs and repair estimates together. Start with what you have; we can discuss which records are relevant.
