What is a public insurance adjuster?

A TDI-licensed professional who represents the policyholder on a first-party property insurance claim. We document the loss, estimate it, and negotiate with the carrier. We do not work for the insurance company.

Do you work for the insurance company?

No. We represent the insured. The company adjuster represents the carrier.

Do you handle homes?

No. Commercial property only. We do not handle residential homeowners claims.

What does it cost?

If you hire us, 10% of additional money recovered after you retain the firm. Texas Insurance Code §4102.104 caps total public-adjuster commission at 10% of the insurance settlement. Hiring a public adjuster is optional. The review is free.

Is the review free? Do I have to sign?

The review is free. No signature is required unless you decide to hire the firm. A written contract is required before we represent you.

Can you help if the claim is already closed?

Sometimes. Send the closing letter, estimate, and current photos. There is no promise that every closed file can be reopened.

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes. The site is bilingual and Spanish-speaking staff are available.

Are you a lawyer? Will you sue the carrier?

No. We are not a law firm. We adjust. If the file needs an attorney, we say so.

Are you a contractor?

No. We do not perform repairs, roof, mitigate, or build.

How do I verify the license?

Firm license #1986412. Cord Largo license #1862708. Start at tdi.texas.gov and use the consumer license search (Sircon).

What counties do you cover?

Primary: Hidalgo, Cameron, and Starr Counties, and the rest of the Rio Grande Valley, plus Laredo / Webb County.

How soon should I call?
